Private jet flight activity increased by 3.5% in the United States during the week of August 31st, 2023 compared to the same period last year, according to data from Private Jet Card Comparisons. This is the fourth consecutive week of year-over-year growth in private jet travel.
The increase in private jet activity was driven by a 5.1% increase in domestic flights and a 2.2% increase in international flights.
Private jet travel has been on the rebound since the beginning of the year, with domestic travel growing by 9.4% and international travel growing by 5.6% in the first quarter of 2023 compared to the same period last year.
The strong growth in private jet travel is a sign that the travel industry is slowly recovering from the pandemic. With vaccines becoming more widely available and restrictions on international travel starting to ease, we expect private jet travel to continue to grow in the coming months.
